OLD BLUE EYES IS BACK !!!

*** STAYON 4.1 ***

STAYON 4.1'S FEATURES........

"Activity Simulator" option - The original version of StayOn was designed to identify and automatically answer AOL's inactivity warnings.  It performed flawlessly until AOL added a new twist to its logoff strategy.  Simply answering the warnings was no longer enough.   If the AOL software didn't detect actual online activity, the user was logged off regardless of the auto-answering of the warnings.  In response to AOL's new strategy, I added an activity simulator to StayOn, and the war was on.  AOL would develop new ways to disable StayOn, and I would respond by releasing a new working version of StayOn (usually within 24 hrs).  This went on for several years until AOL finally banned the use of StayOn and other similar programs.  If you read AOL's terms of service, you'll find that they still ban the use of programs that "defeat the functionality of the AOL software".

Inactivity warnings are now relatively rare, thanks to dsl and cable access.  But there are still a lot of people with dialup access, and I'm certain that some ISP's still log their users off for inactivity.  In fact, I recently learned that the inactivity warnings DO still exist on AOL for some members who are using dialup access.  That's why StayOn still has an activity simulator.

"Animated Eyes"options - Based on feedback from thousands of StayOn users during the past decade, I believe it's safe to say that the program's animated eyes are its most popular feature.  They were originally intended to give the program some character, and that goal was apparently achieved.  In this version of StayOn, there are two options for the animation.  If you choose the "Look Around" option, the eyes will randomly look around the screen, and occasionally wink or blink.  If you pick the "Watch Cursor" option, they will follow every movement of your cursor.

"Popup Killer" option - StayOn's popup killer was designed primarily to knock out popup windows that slip through the cracks of ordinary popup blocking utilities.   If you have pesky adwares or spywares that your spyware utility can't remove, StayOn's popup killer will close these windows instantly every time they appear.  The only setup required is adding the window to the kill list the first time it appears, and after that StayOn will handle it.

Eye Color Options - Choose from six background and foreground colors.  (Even with these new color options, I have a feeling many people will still refer to StayOn as "Old Blue Eyes", and I'll accept that as a compliment).

Display Options - StayOn's control bar will display the time, date, or number of popup kills, depending on which option you select.

Home Page Link - This feature makes it easy as a mouse click to visit my home page and check for newer versions of StayOn, or any other program I might be working on.

Hidden Features - As Forest Gump would say, one night "for no particular reason" I decided to add a few little hidden "tricks" to StayOn.  Nothing spectacular.  A left click here, a right click there, and watch what happens.

STAYON 4.1's BEST FEATURE - ****** IT'S FREEWARE !******    No time limits or partially disabled functions.  No viruses.  No spywares or adwares.  No registration reminders.

DISCLAIMER - Even though this version of StayOn has been tested extensively on computers with a wide range of memory and processor speeds, I can't guarantee that it will perform flawlessly on every computer that it's installed in.  I did my best to make this program as safe and dependable as possible, and it does not contain any malicious code.  By downloading and installing this program, you are assuming full responsibility for any problems that may occur as a result of its use.

System Requirements
This version of StayOn was designed for computers with Windows XP and a processor speed of 500 mhz or higher.  Resolution should be at least 800 X 600.
