This is the home page of the ORIGINAL "StayOn".....
the handy little utility originally designed to prevent AOL from logging its users off for inactivity. The program was
(and still is) a reflection of my attitude towards corporate greed, and my efforts to "encourage"
the top dogs of giant corporations to keep their promises. In this case, the broken promise was that
of unlimited service to AOL users. StayOn provided AOL members with a tool that made it possible for them to receive the unlimited service that AOL promised, but did not deliver. StayOn's impact on AOL was such that, shortly after the program was made available to the general public, AOL amended its terms of service (TOS), explicitly banning the use of any programs that "defeat the functionality of the AOL software".
To the thousands of AOL members who have supported me over the years, I offer my sincere thanks. You're the reason StayOn was so successful. As a token of my appreciation, I recently finished a new version of StayOn, which is now available for downloading. I have a hunch you'll find it's unlike any other program you've ever used.
Also, please be advised that my work with StayOn is ongoing, and my goal is to find ways to improve the program and make it more user-friendly, while preserving its unique interface.
